How much does a website cost?
Websites start at just £249 with a small £29/month to keep it hosted, secure and live — or save 20% on the monthly fee by paying annually. If you want me to actively get you found on Google and bring in reviews, the Growth plan is £399 + £79/month. Bigger or more specific jobs are priced individually — and if you pay annually, you save 20% on the monthly fee. There's a full breakdown in the pricing section above.
How long does it take to get my site live?
Usually within 7 days. After a quick chat to understand your business and gather a few details (your services, area, and any photos), I build it, you review it, and once you're happy it goes live. No months of waiting around.
I get all my work by word of mouth — do I really need one?
Word of mouth is brilliant, and a website makes it work harder. Most people who are recommended a tradesperson will still Google your name before they call — just to check you're legit. If they find nothing, some of them quietly call whoever they do find instead. A proper site and Google profile turns every recommendation into a booking.
What if I already have a website?
No problem — send it over and I'll take an honest look. Often it's an old or free site (a Wix or GoDaddy builder, or a Facebook page) that isn't ranking on Google or bringing in work. I'll either improve what you've got or rebuild it properly, whichever makes more sense for you.
What does the monthly fee actually cover?
On every plan it keeps your site hosted, secure and online, with small tweaks handled for you. On the Growth plan it also covers your review-request system, local SEO to help you rank, and a simple monthly report showing how many people visited and called. It's not just hosting — it's keeping the work coming in.
Am I tied into a long contract?
No. There are no long contracts — you can cancel any time with 30 days' notice. I'd rather keep you because the website's working for you, not because you're locked in.
Do I need to be technical or do anything myself?
Not at all. You tell me about your business in plain English, and I handle everything — the build, the domain, the Google setup, all of it. You deal with one person (me), not a call centre.
