1. Who we are

These terms are between you (the "Client") and Site Seen Digital, a sole trader business based in Surrey, UK ("we", "us", "our"). You can reach us at tyler@siteseendigital.co.uk or 07766 058339. Our full trading address is available on request.

2. Our services

We provide website design, build, hosting arrangements, and ongoing support and maintenance, as described on our website and in the quote or proposal we send you. The exact work included is whatever we agree in writing with you before we start.

3. Quotes and pricing

Prices shown on our website (for example, websites from £249) are a guide. We will give you a specific quote for your project. Unless we say otherwise, a quote is valid for 30 days and prices are exclusive of any applicable VAT. If your requirements change during the project, we may need to adjust the price, and we will always agree any change with you first.

4. Payments

Payments are handled securely by our payment provider, Stripe. We do not see or store your full card or bank details.

• One-off work (such as a website build) is invoiced as agreed — typically a deposit to book the work and the balance on completion or before the site goes live.
• Ongoing plans (such as hosting, care and support) are charged as a recurring payment, which may be collected by Direct Debit or card through Stripe. By setting up a Direct Debit or subscription you authorise us to collect the agreed amount at the agreed intervals. You are protected by the Direct Debit Guarantee.
• Invoices are due within 48 hours of the invoice date unless stated otherwise. We may pause work or suspend a live site or service if payment is significantly overdue, having first given you notice.

5. What we need from you

To build your site we'll need things like your text, images, logo, and access to any accounts required (for example your domain or Google Business Profile). You confirm that any material you give us is accurate and that you own it or have permission to use it. Delays in providing what we need may delay your project.

6. Your content and ownership

You keep ownership of the content you provide to us (your text, images and logo). Once your project is paid for in full, you own the final website design and content we create specifically for you. We may keep and reuse underlying tools, code libraries, templates and techniques we use across our work. Unless you ask us not to, we may show your website in our portfolio and marketing.

7. Third-party services

Your website relies on third-party services such as hosting, domain registration, fonts and payment processing. Those services have their own terms, and we are not responsible for outages or changes outside our control. We'll always do our best to keep everything running smoothly.

8. Cancellation and refunds

You can cancel a project or an ongoing plan by contacting us. If you cancel a project part-way through, any deposit is non-refundable and we will invoice for work completed up to that point. For ongoing plans, you can cancel your Direct Debit or subscription with 30 days' notice; we don't refund payments already taken for the current period unless required by law.

9. Our responsibility to you

We will carry out our work with reasonable care and skill. We cannot guarantee specific results such as a particular Google ranking, level of enquiries or sales, as these depend on many factors outside our control. Nothing in these terms limits our liability where it would be unlawful to do so. Otherwise, our total liability to you is limited to the amount you have paid us for the work in question.

10. General

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and any disputes will be dealt with by the courts of England and Wales. If any part of these terms is found to be invalid, the rest will still apply. We may update these terms from time to time; the version in place when you engage us is the one that applies to that work.
